Dental cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a special type of x-ray machine used in situations where regular dental or facial x-rays are not sufficient. This type of CT scanner uses a special type of technology to generate three dimensional (3-D) images of dental structures, soft tissues, nerve paths and bone in the craniofacial region in a single scan. Images obtained with cone beam CT allow more precise planning of implantology, surgical, endodontic and periodontal treatments. Inflammations, for example in the root area, can also be localized more easily and thus be treated correctly.

The use of a dental microscope in endodontic treatment has become an indispensable aid for the dentist. At 8 to 30 times magnification, the microsocope allows the dentist to look deep into the tooth.

Only like this, all fine root canals and their branches can be reliably identified and treated. Even challenging situations can be mastered more easily, e.g. the removal of broken instruments, pins or old filling materials.

Perforations of the tooth wall can be safely treated under direct view through the microscope and sealed with state-of-the-art filling materials (MTA and bioceramics).

Of course we attach great importance to hygiene. We consider the implementation of all recommended standards and the inclusion of the latest findings in research and science as a matter of course in our dental practice.
