Bleaching Berlin: Professional teeth whitening
Teeth whitening
A radiant white smile stands for attractiveness, self-confidence and health. Many people want to whiten their teeth to give their smile a new shine. Discoloration caused by stimulants such as coffee, tea, red wine or tobacco can darken the natural tooth color. With professional bleaching, however, such discoloration can be removed safely and effectively without damaging the tooth enamel. We use the most modern methods of tooth whitening for optimal and long-lasting results.

What is teeth whitening?
Teeth whitening is a professional method of whitening teeth and removing discoloration. Special bleaching agents for teeth are used, which can improve the tooth color by several levels.
In-office whitening is carried out directly in our dental practice and delivers particularly fast results.

The teeth whitening procedure
Professional teeth whitening begins with a comprehensive consultation and examination by our dentists. First, the condition of your teeth and gums is checked so that the bleaching can be carried out safely. We also discuss the initial color of your teeth and your expectations of the whitening result. This is followed by a thorough professional teeth cleaning. This removes any plaque and superficial discoloration so that the bleaching gel can work evenly.
A few days later (the gums may bleed a little after the tooth cleaning), we can apply the bleaching gel. With modern methods such as Zoom whitening, the gel is activated using a special light to effectively whiten the teeth. This process is now repeated in several passes until the desired brightness is achieved. At the end of the treatment, we apply a fluoride gel to protect the teeth and reduce their sensitivity. Of course, you will also receive valuable tips on dental care to maintain the beautiful result for as long as possible.

Advantages of professional teeth whitening at the dentist
Teeth whitening at the dentist is more effective and safer (than bleaching at home with over-the-counter products) because with the right technique, teeth can be whitened by several shades. This allows your teeth to shine in a naturally bright white.
With good oral hygiene and regular professional teeth cleaning, your smile will remain fresh and aesthetically pleasing in the long term. It therefore has a more long-term effect than bleaching with over-the-counter products at home.
Tips for care after teeth whitening
Proper care is crucial to keep your teeth bright white for longer, especially if you bleach regularly. In the first 48 hours after treatment, you should definitely avoid strongly staining foods and drinks such as coffee, tea, red wine or curry, as the teeth are more sensitive to new discoloration during this time. Of course, you should also refrain from smoking.
Regular professional dental cleanings, about twice a year, will definitely help to remove new discoloration and keep the tooth surface clean. You should also pay close attention to thorough oral hygiene: use fluoride toothpaste and soft toothbrushes to protect the enamel. An electric toothbrush can also help to remove plaque more effectively. This way, you can maintain your bright white smile in the long term!
Costs for teeth whitening
In-office whitening, which is carried out directly in the practice, costs around 400 euros. A professional teeth cleaning is required beforehand.
This method is ideal if you want to achieve quick and visible results.
