For referring dentists
You have a patient with a tooth that needs endodontic treatment and would like to hand the treatment over? We take on root canal treatments and revisions under the surgical microscope. After treatment, the patient returns to you with a report and X-rays.
We treat only the referred tooth. Everything else, from prophylaxis to prosthetics, stays in your practice.
Our range of endodontic treatment
We take on everything that can be resolved inside the canal with a microscope, ultrasound and patience.
- Primary treatment of all teeth, including difficult anatomy, obliterated canals and molars with four or more canals
- Revision treatment for persistent or recurrent apical periodontitis, including removal of the old root filling and resealing
- Fractured instruments and perforations: we retrieve fragments under direct vision and seal perforations with MTA or comparable materials
- Diagnostics: where findings are unclear or the anatomy is complex, we take a 3D X-ray and assess the roots in three dimensions beforehand
Apicoectomy and general anaesthesia
We do not perform apicoectomies. If a tooth can no longer be saved orthograde, we tell you so openly and refer on to a surgical practice where needed.
We do not offer treatment under general anaesthesia. For patients with pronounced dental anxiety we work with nitrous oxide.
How a referral works
We usually treat in one session; in cases of severe inflammation, with a medicated dressing over two to three appointments. We always work under rubber dam and the surgical microscope.
01 You refer
You give the patient a referral and send us the findings you already have.
02 We advise
We assess the findings, discuss prognosis and costs and issue a cost estimate. Then the patient decides.
03 We treat
Shaping, disinfection and root filling under the microscope. Fractured instruments and perforations we manage in the same session.
04 You continue care
The patient returns to you with a report and final X-ray. You place the crown.
After the root filling we seal the tooth adhesively. The definitive restoration, usually a crown or partial crown, remains with you. If you would like a post and core, please note it on the referral.
The patient returns to you with a report: course of treatment, number and length of canals, filling material and final X-ray. Anything unusual, such as a perforation repair, is stated explicitly.
Findings and documents
Most helpful are current X-rays of the tooth, ideally with older ones for comparison. If a CBCT scan already exists, please send us the dataset so that we do not need to take a second one.
A short note on the question at hand is enough: whether it is a primary treatment or a revision, how long symptoms have been present and whether the tooth has been pre-treated, for example trepanated or dressed with medication.
For patients with German statutory insurance, please issue the referral for continued treatment (Überweisung zur Weiterbehandlung); we then bill the insured service directly. Treatment under the microscope and extended disinfection are private services. What that costs in the individual case, the patient sees in advance in the cost estimate.

Case discussion before referral
Where the prognosis is unclear, a brief exchange before you refer is worthwhile. Sometimes a revision is promising, sometimes extraction is the more honest recommendation. Send us the X-ray with your question and we will get back to you with an assessment.
In cases of acute pain we find an appointment at short notice. Your patients simply call us or book online.
Your contacts for endodontics
From 1 October 2026, two colleagues take on endodontic treatment in our practice, exclusively under the surgical microscope and with rubber dam.
Adisa Keita, M.Sc. Endodontics
Adisa Keita specialises in endodontics. After qualifying at Charité Berlin in 2008, she worked in several Berlin practices with a focus on root canal treatment under the surgical microscope. She completed the Curriculum Endodontics at the Philipp Pfaff Institute in 2013 and a Master of Science in Endodontics at Danube Private University in Krems in 2023.
Magdalena Cukier
Magdalena Cukier is a dentist with a focus on restorative dentistry, fixed prosthetics and endodontics. She qualified at Hannover Medical School in 2012 and subsequently worked in Munich and Berlin. In 2019 she completed the Curriculum Endodontics. It matters to her that patients understand every step, even when they come to the practice with anxiety.
